We aim to make any event special, if it is a birthday, wedding, dinner with friends you name it.
The focus is on fresh, local produce as the base for happy, tasty and colourful food with influences from all over the world.
We are Max and Katja Vloet and we are the founders of Mopoke Munchies.
With Mopoke Munchies we are bringing our passion for food to you.
Introducing Max and Katja.
Max is the creative brain. He started at the age of 16 working as an apprentice in a Michelin star credited restaurant and worked his way through the ranks in many other kitchens in the Netherlands. He was given the amazing opportunity to work at Quay in Sydney in 2013 and has lived in Australia since.
Katja fell in love with Australia since her first visit back in the 90s and has travelled extensively in Oz as well as around the world. She has always worked in hospitality in various roles and companies.
We moved to the beautiful east coast of Tasmania in 2018.
